I got a welder this weekend!!
It is MIG/Flux core. It came with a gas regulator for MIG, so tomorow, I'll go get some gas and a spool of wire and play a bit. Right now, all I have is the fluxcore wire. Overall the welder works well, all I have to do now is find some more things to weld together.

I see many metal things around your house being stuck together in the near future.
A good first project for your new welder would be a cart with casters to wheel it around the garage.

I use mine abunch at work to weld racks and table legs back on. There fun once you get the hang of them.

Steve, thats what I was hoping to be doing today, I have all the material but My friend still has my air compressor so I can't cut the angle iron to weld up. Well He's supposed to be dropping it off this afternoon so I think I'll go buy some casters for it.
P.S. I've had it since Friday, and most of my garage is now welded together! I love power tools!!! :cool:
