Before deciding on what parts to get, tonight I went and pulled the intake to take a gander at things. First thing I noticed was oil had worked it's way past the intake gaskets on both sides and was being sucked into the valves. There was visible oil on top of the valves that were closed also. Now I know why she smokes a little! The intake ports on the heads are definetly ported all the way down the runners but were not matched up that good at the gasket. The gasket also overlaps the intake ports on the manifold. So I'm taking it upon myself to port match everything with new gaskets now. While the carb was off I went and milled the choke tower off and blended everything real nice. Valve lash is going to be adjusted and new plugs are going in and we'll see what happens after that. I think we will see a noticeable difference after all of this.
One thing is strange though, The oil level never seems to go down even after 3 months.
