speedometer drien gear change
I own a 73 with a modified L48 and auto trans. I am in the process of swapping the original rear 3.08 gear for a 3.55. I belive that I will need to replace the driven gear in the tranny to the speedometer. does anyone know what color(# of teeth) driven gear that I should be purchasing due to the swap. Thanks

Try these 2 sites and there were posts here on the forum also but I believe they linked to these sites as well. I just changed my 2:87 to 3:07 and am in the process of changing the speedo gear also.
