My ebay buddy..... Again...

All 14 auctions appear to have been cancelled????? :D :D
I tend to agree. Not sure exactly what he did to you but you sure do hold a grudge. I hope you didnt get completely ripped off, I'll have to search for the previuos posts to see. However I looked at his feedback and saw the positives far outwayed the negatives. I figure with that the guy can't be all bad. I have purchased quite a few parts on ebay and have been pleased but would find it very hard to buy any car sight unseen. I am considering selling my 81 and ebay was suggested. I decided to avoid it just for this reason. It seems it would be very easy to mis communicate on something as complicated as a vehicle. It would require a lot to describe every intricate detail not to mention literally hundreds of pictures.
Hope all goes well for you,

All have been adult driven and have no body rust. Undercarriage is in good condition considering the cars age. Motors have been rebuit 10K to 15K miles ago, according to what he was told. :jester
Look at a couple of his auctions and see the same statements about each car.

This guy deserves all the poopie we can give him. After what he did to Mike, he deserves a long slow painfull backruptcy
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
It really isn't a problem as long as you are completely honest with the auction and yourself. If you up the grade of an item or 'foregt' to mention problems with them then you're gonna have trouble. Sellers are reasonably safe because they are in control of the sale. It's the buyer that takes most the risk.
That's the whole reason for the feedback system. I have reviewed this guys feedback and there is no way in hell I would buy from him. I can understand a couple of distruntled buyers cause you can't please them all. But reading his 11 negatives tells me he misrepresents his cars. I find his feedback miserably bad. Many people won't post negative feedback as they are afraid of retalitory feedback - so I bet there are more unhappy ones ot there.
As far as mentioning it here on the board.... It seems to be a wise thing to alert those here that may be buying from him. After that warning I would say we are on our own to decide based on the info and his feedback.
Mike got ripped off, the car disapeared only to magicly re-apear after a lawsuit was started. Then it was not at all as represented.

$8000 and hasn't hit the reserve yet !

Engine and transmission MAY have been rebuilt (according to what I was told) approx. 10-15,000 miles ago as they both feel very strong. I do not have any receipts unfortunately but the car does drive VERY WELL
MANY OTHER SERVICE PARTS CHANGED/REPLACED THROUGHOUT REGULAR SERVICE HISTORY AND MAINTENANCE
If your going to take a picture of the non-correct wheels for this car, with aftermarket fake spinners, may be you should pick a wheel that has ALL 5 LUG NUTS ON IT!!

And look at these wonderfull options:
NO power steering
FOUR WHEEL DISK BRAKES (non-power)
Manual windows
Factory 4 speed (M-21 close ratio I was told, but not 100% sure)
NO air conditioning
PURELY A “BARE BONES” CAR
Note the window crank, or lack there of:

Gotta love that $80 "custom steering wheel" too.......
Nice "Radio Delete".....

Damn, at least vacuum the car before you take pictures :U
I wouldn't give $4000 for this if he drove it to Chandler Arizona for me.....

The first convertible since the mid C3's.
It was Yellow and Bobby Rahal won the Indy 500 that year and got a the real Indy pace car as one of the prizes for winning.
Quite a nice car overall -- for a C4.
So are we getting 5-1/4" or 3-1/2" floppies with this car?
Apparently this putz doesn't know there is a difference between disk and disc
I feel sorry for anyone that buys from this guy!
