Default Vacuum Connections

Alright I just put on a holley 4160 there are only 3 vacuum ports one big port at the rear for the PCV Valve or the Brake Booster, one small port for the distributor, and one small port at the front for the transmission. And I only have one medium sized port on the manifold that is hooked to the headlights. So how do i hook up both the brake booster and the PCV Valve. A friend said that I could hook the brake booster to the large port and the PCV Valve thru holes in the base of the air cleaner. But to me it does not seem like there would be enough suction there.

i'm no expert, but it seems that you could either buy a "t" fitting from the auto parts store and "t" the hoses to connect the tranny and brake together and connect to the port on the front that you have going to the tranny. Or, find an available vacuum port on your intake manifold, depending on which you have and connect it there.

The port on the back of the carb goes to the brake booster only, the port on the front in the middle goes to the PCV, and the one off the side of the metering block goes to the dizzy. Right behind the rear port of the carb is a fitting coming out of the manifold (should have two ports on it) - the side port is a feed for the headlight and interior vacuum control system and the one out the top goes to your tranny.
Hope this helps.
