Default TKO 500 Speedometer Gears

A couple of questions:

I am in the process of replacing my original 3:08 gears. I believe the TKO uses Ford speedometer drive gears.

1) Does anyone know what speedometer gear is correct for 3:55 gears?

2) Do you happen to have the part number and the source for it?

Thanks

Binnie:
The gears are determined by tire size as well as rear gear ratio. PM me the tire size again and I will PM you back the Ford part number for the correct gear.

What if you are going to use the TKO 500's VSS for the speedometer drive? Do you know how many pulses per mile the output is and where do you find a pigtail for the VSS output (been looking for a year)?

The VSS puts out 17 pulses per revolution of the output shaft. That roughly equates to 3000-4000 pulses per mile depending on tire size and rear gear ratio.

If you can wait until Monday when I am back at work, I have a formula to calculate the exact PPM. I will need your rear gear ratio and rear tire size.

Thanks. The speedo is can be adjusted for gear ratio and I think is made for 4000 pulses per revolution.

I am really desperate for information on the VSS pigtail. I have tried contacting Tremec and anyone else I can think of. So far no answers. It is a Delphi VSS #10456568. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
