Default T-Top Alignment Question

My vette came with these aftermarket tops. When they are on (not often) I notice that they aren't parallel. In the back there is a 1/2"+ gap. At the front they look fine. The strange thing is that if you were to somehow push them closer together in the back the outsides (by the doors) wouldn't line up anymore (they are perfect now). Are these tops just made wrong?

What is the gap supposed to be?

Looks about right. I know this is not for a 71, but you may want to call Thompson's astro tops. They'll probably fax you the instructions.

Thats one problem with the moonroofs, they tend to warp. In some cases they can be adjusted in others they cannot. Just take care in adjusting them a little at a time. Too much change can crack the frames or glass when you clamp them down. If the glass breaks your outa luck. Rick
