I would like to know if Mr Gasket aluminium Oil Pan #5415 will fit or not my 350CI - L82 ( 1973 ) engine.
They say it can fit 1955-79 Chevy SB and all 1955-65 corvettes but don't say a word about later corvette models.
If think there could be an issue with power steering, but I'm not sure.
I can cut & weld aluminium if necessary to get enough clearance, but I would like to be sure there will not be other issues...
Jegs has one of thier own brand #555-50200 that is the same thing. I have one on mine now. Its less expensive than the Mr.G but is not made for anything with a longer stroke or aluminum rods. BTW, mine is in the car and running with no issues with the power steering parts.

took the above from the Summit link you posted, down at the bottom it says, will this fit you car or something akin to that...
I have the finned alum pan but not sure of exact Mr G part#. No really baffle inside to speak of, even down by the pickup (bought mine over 5 yrs ago). I have a windage tray but nothing really keeps the oil in "place" or from sloppng around when driven hard. Sure looks pretty with all the other polished alum stuff I have. Still worries me, probably main reason I haven't started it up yet. At least that's the reason for the delay I keep telling myself.
Anyway, my P/S piston touches the fins at full left(?) turn position or at least when piston body is on drivers side. All new steering hardware installed. It appears a little massaging of the fins with a drum sander the dia of OD of steering piston body would solve this.
