Temperature sensor - temp/resistance curve ???
It displays ~120* when it is at 190*
Resistance at sensor is about 150 ohms at 190 degreesF.
Not sure if my sensor is the wrong one.... or I need to calibrate the gauge.
There is 5 watt resistor placed in parallel across the temp gauge... I could play around with the parallel resistance value, but first want to confirm whether the sensor I have is correct.
Anyone know what the Resistance/Temperature relationship is for the correct sensor?
I used a potentiometer in place of the sensor, and obtained the following resistances at different needle displays on my gauge.....
200 ohms at 100*
120 ohms at 150*
82 ohms at 210*
75 ohms at 230*
58 ohms at 250*
