1979 OWNERS ATTENTION!!!!
Just out of curiousity I would like to know how many of you would be interested joining in 1979 Vette registry? As I live on the other side of the planet it would be mostly Internet based, just to gather 1979 owners under the same roof, have a chat, share experiences and things related to our cars. These are some of the ideas I have for the web site:
*1979 Specifications
*Option list
*L-48 vs. L-82 (differences)
*Auto vs Manual
*Color gallery of different exterior/interior combos etc....
*1979 Gallery
*Frame-off resto pages with pictures and information( I've been documenting my project )
*Car of the month( or something like that, where we could show one car and see all the details behind it)
These are just few suggestions and if you have any other please feel free to suggest'em here. If you have the urge to join such registry, please show your interest in here...

I am interested. Because the 1979 production run was the largest in Corvette history at 53,807 it is much maligned. I think it is just a fine example of Corvette history.

I have a 79 L82 that I'm trying to Unbubbaize. Got the rearend torn down and out awaiting parts. Odometer says 33k Interior says that's maybe right. Got to see part of my build sheet while under there. Trouble is it was only the corner and the tank has 24Pluse gallons in it, so I'm not taking it down this time. Put my name in the hat also.
