Default Starter Install Question

WHILE TRYING TO INSTALL MY STARTER ON MY 75 I SEEM TO HAVE FORGOTTEN WHERE ALL WIRES GO. WHERE DO THE TWO WIRES WITH SMALL CYLINDERS THAT ARE CONNECTED TOGETHER GO? HERE ARE A COUPLE OF PICS. THIS IS HOW MY SIMPLE CLEANING UP PROJECT HAS TURNED OUT SO FAR.

I was working on this on my '75 over the weekend. Mine is an Automatic. I'm not sure if there is a difference, so I'll limit my answer to being just for Automatics and maybe somebody else can confirm the manual situation.

There are three posts on the starter solinoid. One will be left with nothing on it at all, I believe it is the right hand side, outboard most post. The largest post, I believe in the center, top of the face of the solinoid is where the big thick battery cable and the two cables with the fusable links that are connected toghether attach. The left hand side post (inboard) is where the third connection is made, that is for the Neutral Safety Switch which is what limits the starter to engaging only when you are in park or neutral.

By the way the engine looks great.
