finally got it out
Thanks for all the advice on removing the broken off stud from my cylinder head. I finally got it out last night. You guys were right. Patience is what it takes. Soaked it for two days with PB Blaster, then bought one of those bolt and stud remover sets from Autozone. The same as the one pictured in my earlier post. I should have done that first, instead of trying to remove the bolt with vise grips. Once that stud remover bit into it, out it came. What a relief. It saved me from having to fire up a torch, welder, or remove the head. Thanks again for all the great advice.
