Default Rear Rotor Question

Last fall I rebuilt the rear suspension on my 70 corvette. The rear rotors had already been taken off before I got the car (the rivets were drilled out previously). So what I am wondering is, this winter while the car is off the road do I need to to do something about this or are they just fine like that. The wheel does hold them in place and they can`t go anywhere, so to me they seem just fine. Just wondering.

If you are asking whether the rivets are needed or not - they aren't needed. They were just used during assembly at the factory.

If you are asking something about the car being off the road and whether you need to do something about it - yes. You need to get it back on the road and drive it!

The rivets are only needed during the manufacture process. You do not need to replace them.

The rivets are not required. The lug nuts keep the rotor in place. :)
