Default Changing heater core

Does anyone know if the heater core in a 72 can be changed by removing the fan motor housing from the engine compartment side.

If your 72 has A/C you will have to work from inside the the vette. I did mine last year (73 with a/c). There are a few good posts if you search the archives.

I downloaded some photos and instructions that someone posted when they did the job on their early c3 with a/c. It's pretty much the same and I used it to help me do my 73. If you want me to email you a copy just PM me your email address.

THIS is GREAT! I am doing mine this morning and I was just about to rip out the dash when I though - let's just do a quick check on the forum first.

THANKS!

Yea: This forum is great as I also was going to rip my dash out but since I have many new projects going as part of my simple engine rebuild it was nice to get one out of the way easier than I planned.
