Default Spark Plug Wire Organizers

I bought some MSD separators, they sucked. They've all fallen off or I've removed them, never looked very professional.

Lets see some pics of neatly dressed spark plug wires, and let me know who makes the kit and how much. But here's the catch, I have tall valve covers with studs, so no kit that mounts on the valve cover close to the head will work...

You can see my valve covers in this pic.

Maybe this should have gone in general, feel free to move it mods...

Same as above but with vertical holders instead of horizontal.

I don't have any pictures, but I used color matching zip ties. Work great. You can make the separators wherever you want them. Also, like the air tubes on the headers. Make a nice device to hold the wires next to the valve covers and away from the headers.

The OEM routing of down the back and to the plugs from underneath with 90 degree plug boots will give you exhaust headers clearance and also keep the wires out of sight with a clean upper half. Wires can get unsightly and no one knows what to do with them as is evidenced with so many variations pictured. Best bet, keep them out of sight as much as possible small block or big block. ..

This is simple requiring nothing more except longer wires from a performance set.
It will not limit my selection since there is no wire holders, just the wires.

This is the key, which everyone, including myself missed. This will severely limit your selection.

Do headers prohibit the use of the original gm wire holders our cars came with? I really like how they keep all the wires underneath the exhaust and neatly out of the way.

The tall valve covers will limit your selection but you could get creative.

I got vertical looms but did some bending and reconfiguring so it looked the way I wanted it.
You could flip mine over so the mounting is at the top and the wires hang below closer to the head but far enough away from the headers.

From the summit website...

Your valve cover bolts are up higher so flip these around so they mount upside down except your driverside would have to go on your passenger side ect. The kit also comes with poly standoffs so you can adjust the height of the spark plug wire rack. And you can bend the aluminum how you want it.
I like IronCrosses idea but i was uneasy with a way to secure the wires from staying away from my sidepipe headers. Tucking them under is a much cleaner look though.

Hmmm... That's a damn good idea. Who makes those and how much?

I used ball milled plug wire organizers to match my valve covers. The heads are Vortec so they have center bolt covers. I had to buy adaptors to use these plug wire guides with center bolt covers, but they were designed for standard valve covers like yours.

I do the same, zip ties, learned that from my dirt track days. You can get creative and gives it a neat look.
