ZF6 transmission
I was looking for a T56 transmission to swap into my 75 and realized they are very expensive and seem pretty big to fit in. The ZF6 looked much smaller and possibly easier to install. Has anyone done this, How strong are they, any problem/praises for them. I havent heard of as many people doing this so I assume it would be harder to find parts but they did bolt up to the lt1s so in theory they should bolt up to a gen 1 motor

I believe Twinturbo has the ZF6 setup in his Vette. If I remember right he had to chop out a large piece of the tranny tunnel to make it work right. The T56 swap has plenty of threads on here and if you do a search you will find a lot of information on the swap. I will be useing a
T56 out of a Viper for my swap, a little stronger and has a lower final overdrive ratio then most GM T56s, houstonvett
