Default Hood dimensions

Does anyone know the dimensions of the hood for a 79 vs 77?
I'm looking at one on ebay and it says it is 64-1/4 from tip to mid point and 69" tip to end of flares. Is this right for C3 that had wiper doors? Mine is a 79.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure a '77 hood will fit a '79 just fine. The wiper doors and short hoods were gone before the '77.

The hood you want is a '77 hood right?

I'm looking at one on ebay and it says 69' to the tips by the windshield. It is aftermarket. Mine is 63-1/4 to the tips. Seems like 69 is too long for any C3 but that's what the guy says.
Thanks

I think the easy solution, since trusting his measurements is risky, is to email him and ask him what YEAR the hood was purchased for if it's after market, he will know. Also, ask him if it's a 'long' or 'short' hood, as after market hoods to older C3s could be bought long and give the owner the opportunity to delete the wiper door.
