What did the 68's use for w/shield washer nozzles? Did they have spray nozzles that attached to and went through the panel ahead of the wiper door, or did they have a rubber line that went through the wiper arm with a nozzle on the end of the arm?
I can't seem to find any mention of 68 nozzles in the catalogs. Are these another example of 68 only parts and are they available somewhere?
thought i remember seeing something where the hose ran up the wiper arm with a nozzle on the arm...but i'm not possitive.
I may have been in my 74 or 78 aim or one of the other autos i've fiddled with.

the 68 had spray nozzles, and Ive never seen them reproduced
The spray nozzles mount to the underside of the vent plate in front of the wiper cover. I've never seen reproduction nozzles either. Early '69 used them too.
They were made of a short piece of steel tubing. The tube has a 90 degree bend and the squirter end of the tube is pressed flat. A small hole is drilled in the flattened end. That's were the water spray comes out. The tubes are mounted under the grill work that's between the hood and the retractable wiper panel. The tubes are held in place, under the grill work, with a clip and the ends are pointed at the windshield. The other end points at the center of the car, and a rubber hose connects the tube to the water pump. Seems like you could relatively easily fabricate something that would perform the same function, but it wouldn't pass a close inspection.
Thanks all of you for your responses. I guess I'll be looking for 2 of those proverbial "needles in a haystack"! I'm not really worried about originality so maybe some late 69 on up wiper arms with the tubing and nozzles in the arms will have to do.
I had the same problem. Ended up getting some squirters from Year One that were for a late '60's chevelle. I had to spend a bit of time with the guy at the parts counter, but after a bizillion trips back to the parts bin, we came up with one that looked like it would fit. I ended up having to do some bending and then soldered up a foot out of sheet brass to hang it under the grill. But I ended up with something that looks pretty good and wets my windshield. I'd offer to take pic's but most of my handywork is now covered by the grate so I don't think I could get a good shot. I'll check and see if I can find the part number I picked up. It was pretty close right out of the wrapper. If I can find it, I'll PM you.
When I got my '73 it did not have any nozzles. '73s had the ones that were on the wiper arms.
I went to the local Pick-Apart boneyard and found that all older GM vehicles had 2 types of nozzles. One is the 90 degree one described below. Since I did not know how I was going to make them work I bought 3 of each type they had. I think I paid $2.00 for all of them, the cashier did not even know what they were.
I was able to mount them to the firewall panel in the same spot that the old hose went through. I little clever bending and it works just like any GM car of that vintage. It turned out to be a cheap simple fix that has worked for about 1o years with no problems.
If you want to see a picture of how I did it let me know and I'll try to get one up on here in the next few days.
