Default New Pics and Great Leap Forward

Hello guys I promised some pics when the paint was finished and the drivetrain back in the car. We are full steam ahead on body reassembly. Thanks for all the great help and advise. She is starting to look like a car again and I am broke hahahaha.

Bryan. Checked your web site out and your car looks GREAT.A lot of work into what you've done so far. Your going to love that "383" with the baffles. The dyno sheet is basicly what mine is, and it's a gas. Hows the new bizz going? Thanks for the LINK spot on your web. JCL   :chevy

The car is looking great and you did a fantastic job of documenting it on your home page. :yesnod: A little inspiration for those of us who have dropped lots of dough, uncounted hours in our projects and still have a long ways to go! :seeya

ZD75blue, thanks for the compliment on the motor. I have not turned it over yet and I am getting really stir crazy to hear it run. I have got a butt load of money in this motor so I hope she performs as expected. If I had it to do over again I think I would have bought a crate motor. Call me nuts but I just can't get those 427 small blocks from Bill Mitchell out of my head. By this time it would not have been that much more money. But then I start reading about the guys on the forum that have the 502ZZ motors and I get green all over again. Funny thing is one of my experienced buddies told me to just buy a crate motor. But I was to ate up with the fixer upper bug and bought heads, intake, carb, MSD distributer, water pump, next thing you know I have almost bought a whole engine and it just creeped up on me. Hopefully I can positively influence the next Vettster I meet and good advise wont be wasted like it was on me. :p: Thanks again for the compliments it really helps with the motivation factor. Looks like this frame up restoration is going to be completed in one year start to finish.

Looks like it is coming along. I'll really be impressed if you get it "done" in a year. Mine was in the paint shop for 4 months and the frame at the powder coater for 5 weeks, but I managerd to get mine "done" in a little over a year.

Keep taking pictures and sharing your progress!

FYI, on your site under "the beginning", second sentence should be in "tact" not "tacked"
