Default Fuel filter location
I have a 100 micron pre pump filter that is mounted to my pump under the fuel cell.
I am trying to decied where to put the 10 micron filter and I am wondering if it makes a diffrence how far or how close it is to the fuel rails?

This it a pic of the filter it is 2.5" in diameter and 7" long

Fuel rails? Are you talking about fuel injection?
New cars, with fuel injection, have the fuel filter under the car about half way from the tank to the engine.

Yes it is fuel injected.
I would like to mount it under the car but didn't know if there were any draw backs to it.
