Trailing arm bushings
I'm finishing up the front end now and moving to the rear.I was going to use rubber bushings for the control arms because i thought it would give the drive train a little bit of a cushion on hard starts? would poly bushings put more stress on the drive train on hard launches? If i use the poly do I have to flair the sleeves like you do with rubber? Thanks!

You do have to flare the bushing sleeves just like the rubber ones. I have had poly bushings on the rear of my '70 for 30,000+ miles now with no real problems, but then again I've NEVER done a burnout in it. Any real appreciable driveline shock from such treatment would mostly be absorbed by the springs.
