driveshaft shortening??

Those of you that have had your driveshaft shortened, how much did it cost?

Does anyone know of a good shop in the seattle area?

Shorten and balance about $45 - $50. I don't know your setup, but I had to buy a new yoke and of course, new front and back universals. About $150 all total.

I dropped mine off last Monday. They told me about $40.00. I am sure that is for shorting it only and the u-joints will be extra. I tell you the final cost when I pick it up.

Just had mine shortened. Cost $ 51.25 with our 8.25% tax. Got it back in 3 hours. Just looked up driveshafts in the yellow pages. I just installed and so far so good. Good Luck!! :seeya
