Troll: "Supernatural being, giant or friendly but mischievious dwarf, in Scandinavian mythology" (The Concise Oxford Dictionary). Nope, none around here in the C3 Forum ;) .
Fortunately NO. We have only one license plate here in Quebec and it's OK like that for me. This way, I can put my club member plate, cause I'm a member of the Club Corvette Nord-Sud. You can go and check our site at http://www.clubcorvettenordsud.com/ and you will see in the classified ads my former '85 that I changed for the 1975. I used to have a 1981 that I liked very much but I wanted to try the C4. I guess it was not my style, so I switched back to the great C3.
It had a frame up 2 years ago and the only thing left to change are the door panels. It is believed to be very rare because of the trim. The original owner ordered it dark red with the interior leather dark blue. It looks bizarre but I'm sure I won't see another one like that. As soon as I'll have some picture of it, I will post them.
I was there in 2000 for the Festival de la rue, when we almost fill up Main street with our Corvettes. Were you there? And I was also at the Hot Rod and Sports Car meet this year in Hawksberry. I will probably go there again next year.
Yes I was there with the Capital Corvette Club. Was a very enjoyable day. The town people were very gracious to shut down the main street for a Corvette show. Unfortunately my digital pics are long gone....I do not know if the event is on this year. The Club had a meeting last night and I do not believe that Hawkesbury in on the map for 2002. We plan our events/charities about 6-8 months in advance and the summer of 2002 is just about set. We are planning a major show/shine in Ottawa next summer with major corporate sponsorship for charity. We hope to draw from Northern New York and Western Quebec. Perhaps you can make it.
