rear fender flares

I have a 1980 and want to install flares for wider tires. I can only find flares for models up to 1979. Will they fit an 80 or do they need extensive mods to fit? any help or ideas appreciated.

they should fit since the rear 1/4's are the same from 74-82

Also look around on the forum at some of the treads going on about flares and vintage road race pictures. You should see some pictures that may give you some ideas.

Any flares are going to require fairly extensive modifications to fit. The fronts flares need to be modified to fit the '80-'82, but the rear should be ok.
