Haha, where?! Did you see how close it is to the brake MC? And I can't turn it down because the headers are in the way. I'm open to suggestions.

Hehehe..... in fact it's a "bit" tight setup!

Anyway, wath about to route the pipe under the brake pump toward the opening in the rear of the front wheel?

Of course is an idea..... but I don't know if there is enough room to do it..... in case, in order to avoid too much heating from the header you shoul make it in mirror polished aluminum!

As you know in a supercharged engine a cold intake is very desirable, much more than in a atmosferic setup!

The last (but VERY last) option, if you will accept to cut your hood, can be to make a cup under the filter in order to seal the area and to make a NACA opening in the hood..... or a small "bat-gulper" air scoop !

Runs great, funny thing though, the headlights go down under boost. When I let off the throttle they pop back up. Guess that factory check valve doesn't work so great.

well I know you might not be up to it, but using a cowl hood and sticking the filter above the dizzy can get it a fresh source of air. even make a little box for it too.

I went through a lot of work to get this all under the stock hood, and I'm not about to cut it up for an air filter. I'm going to look around under there and see if I can route the filter under the brake MC and behind the fender like Stroker 427 suggested. I'd have to move my vacuum resevoir to the other side but that's not a big deal.

Don't be too concerned about the length of intake pipe causing heat buildup.
The sheer volume of air drawn, and the rate of flow through the pipe, ensures there is not a great deal of heat exchange to affect intake temp to the blower...... just make sure the air getting into the pipe is as cold as possible. Route the intake pipe through to a position where the air filter can suck cold air....
as long as it has a smooth bore and a decent diameter, it will work well.

The problem you DO have is the intake air is heated up by the process of compression....
How much "boost" pressure does your blower produce?
For much better performance, the compressed air from your blower should pass through an intercooler before entering the intake manifold.

You haven't got a lot of room there. I have seen a few blown installations which use quite effective water cooled intercoolers. It may be an alternative if you need cooling to prevent pinging/detonation at higher performance levels

Ozzy Tom, I will be intercooling this setup and going with a smaller pulley when I get the cash for it.

But for right now my next project is paint/ body work.

Just my 2 cents, I think a small snorkle up though the hood in that area would be cool - give it a unique all business look.

Congrats on finishing a lot of hard work,

Not cutting the hood.

FRSTR90, the basic hot air kit NEW is about $3500.
