Vortec Intake Manifold Bolts
Has anyone had any luck finding intake bolts for a vortec setup other than a vender. Most places have a set for 30 dollars and the hardware stores bolts have too small or heads. Any suggestions?

Not sure if there is one in your area but I would think a company that deals only in nuts and bolts would be able to help you out. Google fasteners in Wisconsin, see what comes up.

The correct bolts are shouldered to allow a precise amount of gasket compression before bottoming out, ensuring a correct installation every time as long as you use the correct gaskets as well. Torque is 11 ft lbs. This is modern tech, to do the job as designed you need to use the right parts.
