Default Stroker kit

I have decided to take the plunge while I am doing almost everything else on the vette and stroke the engine. I would appreciate any thoughts on this stroker kit from CNC-motorsports. http://www.cnc-motorsports.com/produ...D=12003&CtgID= It will be matched with the top end/eshaust in my signature. Car will be a weekend driver, ( I was looking at my L82 upgrade to get about 400/400 so I guess the stroker should get ther too. I dont mind spending the $$ but want to make sure the kit isnt overkill, or another kit will meet my requirments. Thanks again for any input you can give.

Default 383

I am doing a 383 kit as well. I bought a forged crank with rods and hypereutectic pistons with 10.4cr through a machine shop for 1200. Im not sure if it came with all the bearings or not but it seemed like a good deal. Your probably ok with that kit but i would opt for the forged crank over the cast just incase you beside to make more power later. You might find that 400hp sounds like enough now but you always want more.
