Jim Sheas paper says to put the L/H Threads to the outside, I assume I'll do it like Jim says but somthing is screwy on the packaging, unless I can't read right.
I don't think it matters which side they go on, as long as you have one with left hand threads and one with right hand threads on the same tie rod tube. The only difference it will make is the way you turn the tie rod tube to adjust the length...I could be wrong though. Someone with more experience will chime in soon
I believe that the right hand thread is on the outside. Each sleeve has a right hand thread on one end, and a left hand thread on the other end. The tie rod ends will only screw in to the correct matching thread. When they adjust the toe-in, they loosen the clamps, and turn the sleeves. Depending on which way they turn it, both tie rod ends screw out or in, which adjusts the toe.
I guess as everyone has said, it dosen't really matter as long as you have alike threads on outside and inside.
I was just confused with the info on the tie rod packaging, because if you follow the descriptions you will have one of each thred on the outside and one of each thread on the inside.
Actually if you want the same adjustment to have the same effect, it should be done as the package is labeled. Having the same thread type on both outsides will cause the same adjustment to have the opposite effect.
Think of it this way, if you remove the complete tierod off one side of the car and put it on the other (without rotating or flipping, just translating) that turns an "outside" into an "inside" and vice versa and the tierod will behave the same because it hasn't been changed.

Moog Tie Rod End #MOES323L is the Outer RH/Inner LH & #MOES323R is the Inner RH/Outer LH.
I had to look this up because I just picked mine up from the parts store. I had four boxes and two part numbers between them and wasn't sure what went where.
