Well, I thought about that and had 3 of us stand on the frame rails and sitting on the crossmember and they barely moved. So I am figuring we had 550-600 lbs there.
Also, does it look like the smart struts are upside down?? I figured the flat part of it should be up against the differential, but in looking at the AIM it looks like the old strut bar was the other way....
i'm guessing that your motor and trans are not in yet and this should bring the rear down. my car is in the same state as yours and my angles look exactly the same. i'll be dropping the motor trans soon and some of that weight will get transferred to the rear of the car. vector physics tells me so

Motor and trans were dropped in last weekend.. I thought it was going to come down too.The spring, a 9-leaf, came with the car when I bought it.. It's the only suspension part I haven't bought.
Thinking now's a good time to get the 330 lb. fiberglass since VBP has a sale going on.
Don't worry it will all come down once the full weight is on the rear and the car gets moved. IRS suspensions don't "level" out until they have been moved.

Did you roll the car a little? After lowering mine from jacking it up, it will stay jacked up a little until I move it back or forward, then the suspension settles back to normal.
