Today I finished painting the interior molding. Now the insulation doesn't look that hard, A diagram came with it. Telling witch was witch. I looked in the box with the rugs and nothing. I don't have the old ones anymore. I'm sure I will be able to figure it out. If anyone has any tips on installing new rugs. Please feel free to reply.
At the NCRS in Old Town I bought from Al Knoch. I told them I wanted the complete set for a 78. So they sent me a sh-t load of rugs. With nothing saying what piece go's were. Or how to install it. I have alot more rug than I have car.
Today I installed the silver insulation. it went in OK. But the driver's side tunnel insulation was cut backward so the felt was facing out. Instead of the silver side. Mid America should check on that. I know some people would really go off if it was them. I just put it in backwards. I have side pipes. So no heat comes from the tunnel side of the car. Wednesday morning the windshield goes in. maybe I'll be tooling around this weekend.
i am going to the paint shop as we forum. My interior is chocolate brown and sitting in a box along with the underlayment, door panels, stereo cd,seat covers, cushions, and carpet set. Paint first(as I was told) Exterior paint White Diamond(pearl) Cadillac Escalade color. One year So far project. Let me know any carpet tips. Can't wait to see your pics.Good Luck.
Today I just put in the back compartment rug in. Fits pretty good. Set the rear speakers in to see how they fit. Tomorrow I'll set the rear storage compartment and mark and cut out the hole. Then take it all out and glue it back in. So far, so good.
4 days have gone by, don't tell me you did nothing in all that time???
How are you going to be ready for a show in a few weeks if you don't "get it done".
Just kidding. I'm changing all my calipers and rotors and pads, I hope I get it done in time. Les
