Power Steering Pump Problem
Hey Guys-
First want to thank all the contributors to the site. I have a 68 roadster that is good from far, and far from good. Most problems I come across I can find an answer to on the forum---this one is so simple, but I can't get my power steering pump loose enough to get the belt off. I loosened the two bolts on the mount, and the one on the slide--I even loosened one below on the back that probably has nothing to do with it. What am I missing. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forum.
The ONE time I messed with the pump and belt on my '77 I ended up just taking out the bolts so the whole pump hinged on only one remaining bolt.
It was partially for this that I switched to serpentine. Now my whole belt can come off in 15 seconds.

Did the same thing-got the belt off. I will be going serpentine very soon-checked out old posts on the subject, hope I don't have clearance issues. Thanks again for the help.
