Hooker Sidepipe Questions
Have installed the Hooker Sidepipes onto my '81 however, the passenger door hits the sidetube when opening the door. Am I going to have to bend the headers down or is there another way to fix this?

Post a pic...my Hooker side mount headers are nowhere near that high...I'm thinking they may be mounted incorrectly.

mine did the same on the drivers side, with the collector pinch bolt loose i just set my foot on the end of the pipe and used a very little pressure to bend it down and no more rubbing!! I think sometimes in transportation of the pipes the tabs get a little bent.

When "tabs" are referred to....what do you guys mean?
I do not have the pinch bolt in the tubes.....they are such a tight fit and the bolt that came with is the wrong thread pitch.
