Have installed the Hooker Sidepipes onto my '81 however, the passenger door hits the sidetube when opening the door. Am I going to have to bend the headers down or is there another way to fix this?

Post a pic...my Hooker side mount headers are nowhere near that high...I'm thinking they may be mounted incorrectly.
mine did the same on the drivers side, with the collector pinch bolt loose i just set my foot on the end of the pipe and used a very little pressure to bend it down and no more rubbing!! I think sometimes in transportation of the pipes the tabs get a little bent.

Mine did it on both sides, and that's how I solved the problem.
Mine are very close to the doors. I'm thinking yours are mounted incorrectly.
Mine aren't scraping the ground or anything but the doors have never hit them and I have at least a full finger's width between the two, on both sides.
