T56 dimensions
Can anyone give me the correct spec's of some T56 questions?
Case dimensions, shifter dim, case length dim and bellhousing dim's for the different available t56 trannys from f body's and other available sources. I've found a couple from fortes, 5 speed and tremec and they don't match the f body 93-97 tranny I have.
Trying to get an idea how close my shifter breakout is going to be with my C3. I don't want to mod my console.
Trying to do the what if before I get too deep into the project, in case I need other parts.

Anyway there is a picture of where a 93-97 t56 shifter will poke thru your floor board. You will need to buy or make an offset shifter handle to make it work with your factory counsel. The trans is the same length as a 700r4 from the front off the bellhousing to the end of the tail shaft but its slightly longer than the th350.
