Hope not. I'm want'in to put yet another set of 'em my C3 sometime this year. The ones I have on it now are 5 years old and they say that tires are only good for 4 to 5 years.
Seein's as I drive it like I stole it, I don't want old rubber on the car. And I love these tires.
I saw the previous thread. Not sure if that is true or not.
Tire Rack has them in both of the OEM sizes that were offered. They are $70-$80 each. I liked them so much on my Vette that I bought another set for my Camaro. I am very satisfied with the performance.
Thats what the idiot at ONLINETIRES.COM told me after he said that they didnt have that tire in stock , but that he could find me a set in Cali. for 10$ more .Then he says or i could get sum other ones because if i need one later on they dont make them anymore ! yeaaaaa riiiiight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I run the 255x60s on my 72 and on the driver's side there are two bolts in the wheel well at the rear. You can tell the tire rubs on one of the bolt heads because it is always shiney.
Passenger side does not rub at all because there are no bolts in that same spot.
