I am thinking about converting to a manual box. Are there any kits out there and will there be any issues with the computer? Just looking for basic info for now. Any other tips or concerns will be appreciated.

You can use 80 or 81 C3 parts to get a driveshaft, console, and crossmember. May can swap with someone wanting to do a 700R4 swap? Pedals fit from 68 up although there are a few differences along the way. I don't think the computer will care, you may have to add a dummy relay so it has a resistance for lockup circuit. The VSS is on the speedo so as long as you hook up the speedo you should be OK there. You will have to change the backup switch because for an auto it's on the shifter. It can be done.

another thing is what would we want? the tko500 tko600 .64 or tko600 .82?
I ask because i had the exact same question before this guy. Our 82s need to grow some *****
