Default TH350 removal? where the bolt's

What all needs to be unbolted to pull the 350 trans with the engine? Cross member, cooling lines, shifter linkage. What else? I am going back with 2004r anything not needed for that install please note. Also my engine builders say I don't need a lock since I will be running a 3000 converter and the drop of 200 rpm is not worth the hasel. Opinions?

You should be good to go on pulling the trans with the engine, assuming you've got the rad out and every other thing attached to the engine under control. I disagree with no going lockup on the 2004R since it kinda defeats the purpose of using the 4speed. IE, I'm assuming you're going with the 2004R for the advantage of a hi 4th gear for crusing at 50+MPH. In 4th you'd definitely not want slippage and the extra heat generated.

Unless I've forgotten, the lock-up is needed for cooling on both the 700 and the 2004R

BTO show's converters that have lockup and don't for the 2004r. Since the builders are putting together the engine tomarrow I guess it's time to call BTO and put the question to them
