I've read all the major Corvette parts supplier magazines looking for a car cover for my 78, but for me it kind of confusing of which one to buy. I need an all weather cover since my vette will be outside. I'm looking for one that will perform well with snow and protect my baby the best.
spiru...if you are putting your car in a garage this winter, I sugest you don't get a cover. My '68 has been under a cover for 13 years and the cover hasen't done a thing for the paint. It seems to attract dirt and dust. If you are storing the car outside, I sugest you look in Mid America. They have a few indoor/outdoor covers that are very nice. :chevy
For my 1979 I have a Max-tech cover from Eckler's. It is usable both indoors and outdoors (waterproof yet allows breathing). It is not light but still easy to handle (and clean - I suppose :) )
The cost was about 100 buckos.
The best cover available (IMO) right now, for the money, is a Noah cover. This material is made by Kimberly-Clark. The Noah is their top of the line cover material. KC has been in this business for many years with their Evolution 4 fabrics.
