Source for a fuel tank cap ? stock or locking..
I need a fuel tank cap for a '73. Big style cap. Anybody know where I can get one w/out waiting on CC or Zip. I'd take any aftermarket stock or locking cap. Doesn't matter.

I found this ad on ebay. just search on gas cap.
Up for bid one used 71-74 Corvette locking gas cap. The chrome on the cap is pitted. This cap came in a box listing it as a 71-74 Corvette gas cap. I'm not 100 % sure that it is for a 71-74 Corvette. A friend of mines uncle had the same cap on his 74 Corvette. Please check before bidding. The cap is vented through the bottom and EE54-9-Z-75 appears on the underside of the cap. The cap functions correctly. Shipping ( insured priority mail ) is an additional $ 5.00. I accept money orders only ( no personal checks or pay pal ). Thank you.

I picked up a nice Stant locking cap, black with a gnarly finish (rough not smooth) so it looks great too. You can pick one up at any Kragen/Checker/Schucks. There is a lookup sheet for the Stant caps in the store that lists everything back as far as 53 I think including our Stingrays.

A little off subject but does anyone know where you can get the Chrome Lemans " I think " complete gas cap. The flip up type that I think was used on the Balwin motion vettes. Thanks for any leads.
