Inside Rear Wheel - Notice body cracking
Look at a Vette today and was happy with the car overall for the price, it is a 1979. I am looking for a Vette in need of TLC and this fit the bill.
Paint is fair and interior is fair....
When looking inside the Rear wheel wells, I notice the fiberglass was crack where the body mounts to the frame and it looked like someone has tried to repair this in the past.
Tell me what happened here.. is this a common failure point.
Can this be repaired and cost?

Impossible to say without seeing pics but it sounds like a body mount reinforcement rotted and someone tried to 'glass over it. You can open a free account at Photobucket.com and upload your pics there. you can then select the [IMG] links and post them to the forum.
