Default t56 big block flywheel question

I'm going to be adapting a t56 to my 73 454. I'm using a donner 95 Camaro LT1 set up , I got the whole trany setup from pedals to driveshaft.

Can anyone clue me in to the flywheel I have to use?

I see call outs from a number of you guys for a Centerforce for 2 piece cranks but I see its for internally balanced motors.

My 454 is an external balanced system, what do I have to use for this set up? anything OEM? or only after market?

Thanks guys!

Use an external balance, 168 tooth, two piece main seal flywheel,
factory or aftermarket.# Ram-1521, # HAY-10-235

Thanks is this true even if using the Camaro's bellhousing and clutch set up?

You have to use the 168 tooth external balance flywheel, I would have to bet the bellhousing will clear the flywheel, the pressure plate may or may not bolt up,
might have to buy a different clutch. aftermarket flywheels have
more then one bolt pattern for pressure plates.

the 168 tooth flywheel won't fit in LT1 T56 bellhousing.

I read something about a flywheel balance plate you can use on externally balanced engine and neutral balance flywheel.

I only found 3 part# that allow you to use LT1 (pull style) clutch on old engines. :
- centerforce : part# 700107
- mcleod : part# 460370
- fidanza : part# 198661 (aluminium flywheel)
