paint prep on new ralleys
I have new ralley wheels and I bought the correct spray paint. The gray paint on the wheels looks pretty slick, might be powder. Before painting should I rough up the surface and if so I was thinking of using 400 grit wet/dry paper. Any advice? I don't want to ruin the nice finish but I don't want the spray to peel either.

Make sure that your work area is at least 60 deg. for best results. You only need to scuff-up the original paint enough to allow the new paint to bond. Don't forget to clean them really well before you start applying the new paint.
