Default Need help with lower ball joints

I don't know if it's been a long day or I just can't think right now. I've been trying everything to get my lower ball joints in but nothing works. I measured it and it's the correct size. Top one went in real easy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have your lower A-arm on upside down. The ball joint should point DOWN, and the bore in the knuckle comes UP onto it. The shaft of the ball joint is tapered, and you're basically trying to put it into the wrong end of the hole.

Also, the coil spring needs to be installed right before you do the ball joints or you'll never be able to get it in.

Durango _boy think he might have a hard time finding coil springs for those aftermarket VBP tube A Arms though. I had to laugh when I saw the arm upside down as I went to do the same thing about a week ago, had to stop and think for a sec.

I know they didn't look stock, but I didn't realize they didn't use coil springs...if that's what you meant.

Finally finished the whole front end yesterday. Thanks for the help darango_boy. Everything looks good but I still go to move the transverse spring towards the passenger side about a 1/4 inch because it looks off. I also forgot to mention that it was a mono when you
advised me about the coils. I'll post pics later.

I think you have other problems. The whole a-arm is upside down. Swap the arms right to left.
