Erson cam help
Information on end of cam reads: Erson, Hi Flow 2H, 791 and J 1 or 3 1. I would like to duplicate it's specs but have not been able to find any info. I understood Mr. Gasket acquired them a while back, but they now say they haven't owned them for over a year now. Nothing comes up on a Google search as to how to contact them now.
Anybody know anything about this cam or how to contact Erson?
Ralph.

re: erson cam who sells them
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Erson Cams was sold off by Mr.Gasket earlier this year to PBM in Louisville, Ky.
which is a Auto Parts Warehouse.
Here is the contact information: PBM Performance Products: 1-800-588-9608
Good Luck
'80's.
Decent cam back then, some of the "older" grinds still deliver in today's setups.
Just used a solid/flat-tappet "Engle" from 1970 (this was an NOS cam still in the box from that year) in a 396" BB "pump-gasser" and made 500+ HP on 93.
Regardless of all the "hype" on "new/up-to-date" cam grinds, DO NOT cut the "old" ones short, they WILL deliver!!! This is especially true for today's "drivers", not where HP is being "chased"!
In any event, the spec's for your's is.....
cam part#120521, 235* @ .050" x .542" x (110* ICL). The ICL is where we installed these cams. I don't have the original cam cards showing the L/S or the (recommended) ICL, only on our job tickets! Installing at the 110* gave the best power!
Thanks, Gary in N.Y.
P.S. We often spoke with T-***** (?) down at Erson back then, not sure about the entire operation today!
