Crossfire manifold Powder coated?

sorry know i have not tryed the powder coat .i have only used the paint .did that 5 years ago and it still looks good ,so i would think that the powder coat should work well and last a long time.

I wanted the clean new original look. I had the manifold bead blasted with glass bead. This will take out all the embeded gas and oil stains. I then painted it with 2 light coats of high temp clear from eastwood products.

My question was specific to the Crossfire manifold. My concern is possible warping because of the big open plenum and thin cross sections. So I wondered if anyone had done this manifold and if there wany problems.
BTW, I have done a crossfire lid in the chrome, but not the manifold bottom:

Sorry, no help to your question. That manifold lid looks great!! I was planning on doing the exact same thing later this year with the wifes 82. Just getting into the chrome power coating. Been experimenting with smaller parts which have turned out quite well.
