Yeah...that blue with the 16's looks good. The trouble with 16's is that you might have trouble getting the tires you want. I think they are getting rare. Everything is getting bigger and bigger.

Not meaning to hijack this thread, but where did you get that hood? Did you make it? I've never seen one like it and it's very close to an idea I had in mind for my '68. TIA

Been watching the thread and taking notes. What is everybody's opinion on the TT2's verses the TT Chrome. 1 Piece verses 2 piece. I like the look of both, but which one is the easiest to take care of?

I went with 16x8 TT2
using 235 x16x60 Tires, good fit no rubbing.
It is sitting high in the pictures, no Interior,
glass and a bunch of other heavy stuff misisng. 69VETT

I was thinking about Torque Thrust 2's, but then I saw some of the newer wheels that have a smoother lip between the bead and spokes. The Torque Thrust 2's have more edges compared to the 4 wheels I was choosing from in this thread:

Which of these four 18x8 chrome wheels do you like best?

I wanted 18" wheels because of the large variety of tires to choose from. The tire selection for 15" and 16" wheels is quite limited. There are a few more choices for 17" wheels but not many.

I chose the BOSS 338's but with gray spokes and polished lip instead of chrome for more of a muscle look:

255/45's on 18x8 w/4.5" backspace are on - pics
