Is anyone running a Steeroids or VBP rack and pinion setup with side tube headers? I just got off the phone with Stahl headers and was told after we had all layed out for config that the rack and pinion may pose a problem and they were unsure. Is the rack and pinion front or rear driven?
Wow from the pics above I can see why there is a concern with clearance. It looks real tight in there with that setup. I'm starting to lean towards Hooker Super Comp side headers but I still need to see if someone is running it with Steeroids first.
I have Dynomax headers with Steeroids. There isn't much room to spare anywhere, but I think I would have even less if I still had a steering box in there.
Do you have a small block or a big block? We have a comprehensive list on our web site of headers that work with Steeroids. For small blocks both Hedman and Hooker side pipes may require a small dimple in 1 tube on the driver's side. For big blocks Hooker and Stahl side pipes fit with no problem.

I think the question to ask Stahl is what is the difference in tube routing between their SB and BB headers. If they are similar then you shouldn't have a problem. As you can see from our list we haven't encountered very many header issues with Corvettes. Only off-beat designs seem to be an issue (a 4-2-1 type header).
From the looks of their photo
the routing looks similar to MN80Vette's Dynomax headers. At least the #1 and 3 tubes look very much alike.
