Your car has existing electric locks, so I had to go one step further, but I did indeed install keyless entry after my electric locks were in.
It was a long time ago but I got two kits off of Ebay, one for the electric locks and one for the keyless...with no remote start and no alarm. Didn't need the extra crap.
I mounted the keyless control unit behind the passenger side dash knee pad, and ran the wiring from the electric locks to their control unit. I connected the proper wires...according to the instructions, and viola...keyless entry.

Man that was near 7 - 8 years ago. I would like to say both kits cost me $50 from Ebay, from the same seller. That may have been before shipping. They were off-brand cheap Chinese stuff but I'll be damned if they don't still work perfectly to this day.
Just installed a unit from JC Whitney in our '78. The one I got only had 1 remote. The one that appears to replace it for about the same price has 2 remotes - http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...aliant+keyless
It works well. I did "smoke" the first one based on use a wiring diagram from a fellow member here but I think that was due to them changing their systems. I installed it in the door itself as it gets you to the wiring for the "controlling/master" door/switch.
This is assuming that you already have power locks and don't have to add the actuators like Durango Boy had to do.
I bought a generic kit that cost me $85. I also needed two cheap relays to reverse the polarity. Stuck em behind the glove box along with an extra 6 circuit box.
