Default A few tech questions:

I have a few questions for you guys on the C3 Vettes...
I sold my built mustang last year that I used for high speed touring/non competition road course driving through one of our local road courses, but I am looking to get back into it.

What I really want is a drivable show car. Something that we can take out about once a month or so to the road course that will hold its own, that we can also take to car shows and meets, make it to the strip once in a while, etc.. not a hardcore scca certified race car. For the cost the C3's look like the best option so far.

The plan would be a factory body, braced up a bit with a 6pt roll bar and harness bar in it, likely a rebuild on the motor (would like to get to around 300/300 hp/tq n/a, nothing crazy), weight reduction, steeper gears in the rear and a built transmission.


Any input is appreciated. Like I said, were looking into lots of options.. Just love the looks of the C3 and the pricing on non numbers matching/modified cars is great.
