Default T56 adaptation need some comparaison

I start my th350 to T56 swap!
but i have some question about cross member!

my install my T56 and i have to cut my cross member but i find that my support is too low from ground! so did i make a mistake in my angle (between tranny and rear axle)???

how are you bolting up the T56 to your bellhousing/engine? Are you using an adaptor plate keeping the original bellhousing and mechanical clutch?

i use a t56 from an LT1 fbody (cltuch bellhousing flywheel) !

It looks like your trans lands in about the same spot that mine does. I lowered the trans ~1" and the drivrshaft angle looks pretty good. I made the mount adjustable so that I can change the angle if necessary after the body is back on. Once I'm satisfied I'll get the mounting plate welded up.

After you get the trans installed post some pics of the shifter location in the interior. I'm interested to see where the shifter comes up in the tunnel.
