no spark...wont start!

no spark...wont start!
heres the story... I have a 72 lt1 with MSD box...the car wont start.
its been fine, then one day no start.
here is a list of new parts and what I did.
1year old battery ....ok
new MSD box ...ok
1yr old super coil...ok when I jump the MSD box to test spark....
1yr old plugs and wires ..ok
new distributor cap and rotor.
new starter
The car cranks but will not turn over.
I get a spark from the coil when I test jump the MSD box. if I try to start with the coil wire off to get a spark near ground I get nothing, then a spark... but most of the time nothing.
I test the spark from wire to plug...nothing...
So, i dont know if it the coil or the distributor is bad...I did have a bad connection with the distributor wires. but I redid those!!!!
what do u think?????
need new distributor or and coil???
